Adam is an international health expert with over 25 years experience in strategic planning, country assessment, program development and impact measurement. He has held senior and executive positions at several prominent global health non-profit organizations such as the International Trachoma Initiative, ORBIS International, Save the Children and Helen Keller International. Adam has expertise in developing long-term strategic plans, program models, intervention strategies, and monitoring and evaluation systems. He is also skilled in setting policies, developing integrated systems, designing tools, and managing functions in complex organizations.
Adam holds a Medical Degree from the University of Alexandria Medical School in Egypt and a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health. Throughout his career he has served on several policy and technical advisory boards such as the Task Force for the Elimination of Avoidable Blindness and The Global Network for the Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases.
